Xander Russell
Guitar Teacher

Xander is predominantly a guitarist based in Leeds (but teaches online worldwide which is just as effective as in person).

Xander is currently studying Popular Music Performance at Leeds Arts University.

Growing up and living in London, he plays mainly indie/pop/rock guitar but also has lot of experience in playing acoustic guitar and is versatile across the board.

He first started guitar at age 11 and has since had the opportunity to teach music in a band setting with an Arts charity called Sir Hubert Von Herkomer’s Arts Foundation in London.

His experience has led him to play at several different venues in London and now Leeds as well as having played at festivals such as Wilderness festival (Oxfordshire) and Latitude festival (Suffolk).

Xander teaches all ages and abilities and is happy to help and give advice and knowledge to anyone with any musical interests. Above all else, his main priority is making sure his students enjoy the lessons and are playing what they find interesting and want to play as opposed to having a set curriculum for everyone.

Lesson costs: £30 per 1 hour session, £25 per 45 minute session, £17.50 for 30 mins
